MUCH BETTER NON PROFIT AUCTIONS Almost all of Tizm’s clients are schools and charities with a silent and or live auction at their fundraiser event. Tizm.com operates in a similar manner to eBay and other online auctions; however it has four unique and very powerful marketing programs and operational systems that have clearly established Tizm as the most innovative and best online auctions for non profits: 1. Tizm Auctions Made Easier (TAME), 2. Better and Earlier Auction Donations (BEAD), 3. Tizm's Absentee Proxy System (TAPS), and 4. Tizm's Overtime Bidding System (TOBS). In addition, Tizm has been able to secure a number of highly attractive donations for our clients. This includes cruises in Alaska, the Caribbean, and Europe as well as some of the most sought after vacations and restaurants in the US and around the world. Tizm Auctions Made Easier (TAME) was created to help those non profits that do not have enough staff, time, knowledge, and or resources to build their online auction. TAME allows our non profit clients to concentrate on obtaining their auction donations and preparing for their fundraiser event while our staff builds their online auction to fit their needs. Better and Earlier Auction Donations (BEAD) effectively have produced five important and powerful results for Tizm's clients: * More, better and earlier auction donations, * Much more exposure for their donors' products/company, * Stronger attendance at over 96% of its clients events, * Higher auction revenues for 94% of our clients, * 59% higher auction revenues during the 1st half of 2008, and * Over 20% higher auction revenues during the difficult 2009! Tizm's Absentee Proxy System (TAPS) allows our bidders to safely place their highest possible bid and go about their daily lives, while knowing that their proxy bid will be placed only when needed to keep them as the highest bidder. During one auction in 2008 TAPS was very effective for a Dallas non profit and very convenient for two of its bidders. Since Suzy knew she would be busy the next day when the auction ended, she placed a bid of $1,000 for an autographed Tony Romo Dallas Cowboys jersey plus the opportunity to meet Romo. Suzy thought that was a perfect present for her 12 year old son's upcoming birthday. Since the bidding was in $25 increments, Suzy topped the previous bid of $650, thus making her the leading bidder at $675. The next morning with four hours to go Mike placed a bid of $850 from his office. Seconds later while Suzy was running errands, she received an email on her cell phone which let her know that TAPS had automatically raised her bid to $875. Suzy then raised her proxy bid to $1,200 on her cell phone. If the online auction had ended then without anymore bids being placed, Suzy would have been the leading online bidder and her bid would have been placed as the opening bid at the fundraiser event. If no one had outbid her at the fundraiser, she would have won the Romo jersey for $875, but that is not what happened. With a few minutes to go before the online auction ended, Mike placed a new leading bid of $1,050. Because his bid was less than 15 minutes before the end of the auction, Tizm's Overtime Bidding System (TOBS) automatically triggered an overtime bidding period that would end 15 minutes from the moment Mike placed his bid, unless someone bid against him which would trigger another overtime. Seconds later Suzy received the news on her cell phone while shopping in the meat department at the Whole Foods Company. Since bidding above $1,000 is in $50 increments, she immediately placed another bid of $1,100 and then she and Mike got into a bidding war and created 28 more overtimes during the next 55 minutes. Fortunately Suzy won the online bidding at $3,650 while she was on her home computer and drinking an iced tea. The next night no one placed a bid against her at the fundraiser event, thus giving Suzy the perfect birthday present for her 12 year old son. This story did happen on Tizm, but the names were changed. These four marketing programs and operational systems, TAME, BEAD, TAPS and TOBS, have made it much easier and clearly more financially rewarding for our non profit clients to enjoy the full benefits of Tizm.com, the best online auctions in America. OVER 30 RECOMMENDATIONS
Tizm also makes over 30 recommendations to its non profit clients that can improve their auction, strengthen their marketing, and help them expand their email lists. We have learned of these or created them over the last 30 years while attending, bidding, and or conducting auctions in Tizm's founders, Frank and Shea Dixon of These 30 plus recommendations by Tizm consistently have resulted in much better auctions for our clients and have increased the bidding in their online and or silent auctions. Amazingly, over 95% of our clients' fundraiser events also had stronger attendance, which we believe was helped by the increased marketing efforts by Tizm.
